Ian’s Pursuit

Struck down in a hit and run while jogging, Ian Hunter wakes up in the hospital badly injured and more than a bit upset.  He soon finds out it was a hit and run but remembers very little about it.    He meets his assigned physical therapist and finds a strong physical and spiritual attraction. With his injuries so severe, he wonders about the future.  Will he fully recover?  If he becomes physically challenged, what might future girlfriend prospects be for him?  Only time and healing will reveal those answers.

After meeting with his surgeon, he and his sister contemplate a life-changing decision about his severely injured legs. While his former gold-digging girlfriend, Marcy is kidnapped from the hospital parking lot after attempting to visit him to gain one more financial favor.

As he struggles with recovering and boredom, his sister brings his laptop computer for him to work on his customers’ websites and to continue his hobby of the reviews of missing person cold cases his cop friend brought him on occasion.  He is more than perplexed by the disappearance of two local young women and even more so when he is anonymously threatened to drop the case. Soon he receives another threat to all his family.  While struggling to accept and recover from the loss of his leg, he feels very helpless to protect them.

Another threat forces his family to seek protection from a private security firm who is more than up to the task.  They are moved to a safer place but is it too late?  Can the family survive?  What more can go wrong?
